Non-genuine pillion seats for R18

Classic pillion perch not the most comfy .
My wife has done 1000 km days on the back of our R11S and K 1 with no complaints . But after 200km on the back of the R 18 ,she was in pain .
Suspension is adjusted to our weights . Was terrorable for both of us as standard , as it was not adjusted at all .
Just got air cushion and strapped it over the pillion perch and then you blow it up with your mouth till its about half full. Now she is happy to ride on the back again . and it still looks close to stock .
She doesent have much natural padding so a bit of help is needed .

Thanks for the info! Great idea with inflatable, and love the picture! I might see if I can get the weekender seat. Looks like there might be a bit more give.

Interestingly in talking to very well respected seat maker here in Seattle (Rich of Rich’s custom seats) he always says that the seat ‘cushion’ is not that important and that one could be comfortable on a rigid seat if it fit properly.

The problem is seat area not depth. The best way to a comfortable seat is wide enough and long enough down the hamstring to support the weight. More area that touches is less pressure on any one spot.
