Hi to all, I’m going to customise my R18 first edition, I’m fitting ABM flat handle bars, have chrome spoke wheels made up, going to try and de baffle the original exhaust,
Question?
has anyone removed the fork shrouds ?

Welcome where abouts in the UK are you?
The Real Toy Shop in Grimsby I think can remove the baffles for you. Try removing the servo cables first for an inexpensive increase in sound.

Hi, can’t remember where I’ve seen the pictures but someone did stick a boreoscope down the fishtails and take some superb pictures for us, they are not heavily baffled or restricted at all. I agree with AlexB do the servo mod before messing with those very expensive exhausts and see what you think first. One mod is reversible the other isn’t. A loud boxer engine is not a nice sound (to my ears), unlike a nicely set up HD. I’m leaving mine stock but I wish you well on your quest
