2022 R18 TXC
Hello everyone. I am a happy owner of previously owned 2022 R18 Transcontinental. Great motorcycle. Does anyone out there now how to aim the headlight? The high beam lights up the trees above very nicely, but I would rather see down the road. The owner's manual does not seem to address this.

Hi Morlin, post a picture of your bike, we always like to see another one join. Someone will chime in with advice on the headlight no doubt 👍

Hi Morlin, welcome aboard and congratulations on your new bike. Chances are your TC has the adaptive headlight pro and if it is pointing upwards, I believe you need to have the unit replaced under the recall. Don’t leave it for another day because the unit retails around 3K. Don’t mean to scare you, I just wanted to alert you of a potential issue here. Do you have any error messages on the TFT?
The headlight cannot be manually adjusted. Keep us posted.

There's a manual headlight adjustment screw on the right hand side, tucked away under the fairing of the TC and Model B; see the below image, from Page 98 in the owners manual:

It’s on page 142 & 143 of my manual.

But what’s tricky is that it’s not really adjusting the light height - it’s just adjusting the spring preload.

The light height is auto-adjusted based on the weight loaded on the bike.

Which makes it hard to adjust because you need to sit on the bike and it can’t be on a stand of any kind.

So kind of hacky.

After my recall replacement of the assembly, mine is far too low. I have not ridden enough at night to car a lot but a couple rides I have gotten home just after dark and the last couple miles I get annoyed and tell myself I will adjust it. I never do and then I’ll have it happen again and get mad at myself for not adjusting it. Rinse, repeat.
