R18 Classic
Just wanted to say hi to everyone and am very happy with my R18. I couldn't decide between it and a R9T so I have both now, as well as a much older harley and a honda vfr which I also bought new some years back. To me it is like havng 4 pairs of shoes for different occasions. Love the R18 and the purr when it starts. Ok the shake and shudder first! I went for the classic as wanted the windscreen and panniers. Am still getting used to the riding position without the harley highway footrests but they are an option later I guess. Everyone is fascinated by the reverse gear..so cool. Looking forward to learning more about the bike via this forum, especially as I undertake all servicing and mechanical work myself. Cheers Rich (Sunny Coast)

Enjoy the start to finish, ride off and then return, the shudder and the shake, quality end to end, the scorn of the American team and the gasps of amazement at your incredible machine.
