2024 R18 Roctane
Proud new owner of a new 2024 R18 Roctane. Glad to be part of the forum. It’s winter here in Michigan so no riding for a while yet. She is safely parked and covered with engine bars installed waiting for spring. Winter buying is tough since I can’t ride but the price was far too low for me to pass up.

I am going to try it without a windscreen first as most of my riding is rural roads at 60 mph or less. I will be searching the forum for options in case I need to add one. There don’t appear to be too many options for the Roctane other than the BMW parts but I will keep looking.

Congrats on the bike. Looks Great! Hopefully spring will come soon and riding will start. I have only been able to get a few small rides or commutes in since I got my R18TC because of winter.
Welcome to the forum!

Welcome to the forum!
Yeah. This is feeling like the longest winter ever with it just sitting there.

Welcome, great choice. Winter is not great and worse when you have a new bike! Our winters are nowhere near as bad as yours but the council mix road salt and molasses together to save money. It makes a sticky salt mess, that rain does not wash away quickly, but cooks hard onto any heated surface and corrodes anything metal it touches. So likewise my Classic is staying in the garage.

Welcome to the forum RockinThor. I too am from Michigan, Houghton LK. Sucks not being able to ride that new machine. Where are you located?
South of Ann Arbor near Milan. Been to Houghton Lake many times. I will be your neck of the woods this weekend. We have a place south of West Branch.

Kool, I know Milan well as I used to race the short track there. The track was same place as drag-strip, I think they had a moto-cross as well.
Awesome. MX track is still there. The drag strip has gone through (still going through?) renovations under the new ownership.
