Menu button on the left handlebar question

Quick question - using the menu button on the left handlebar, I can only cycle through the display options using the 'up' direction through the odomoter / tachometer / voltage etc etc.

Pressing 'down' doesn't do anything.

It has an up & down arrow on the button, suggests it goes in both directions.

Is that normal?

Pressing down deletes mileage recorded or resets odometer history.
