Hi there my R18 sheared a bolt on lower crash bar fixing drilled out and rectified checked every other bolt and fixing got a nip on quite a lot of bolts and fixings going to do this every couple of months now a stitch in time right enough

Is the "crash bar" an OEM BMW part or a 3rd party aftermarket part?Hi there my R18 sheared a bolt on lower crash bar fixing drilled out and rectified checked every other bolt and fixing got a nip on quite a lot of bolts and fixings going to do this every couple of months now a stitch in time right enough
Was the sheared bolt from a drop?

Wunderlich bottom mounting think it was slack for a while lesson learned

It would be great to get a list of check points and their torque values that BMW recommends that their mechanics check when a bike is in for an annual service.
I've gone through my bike once or twice; more so concerning the installation of the aftermarket exhaust, where I did find an extremely loose bolt securing the side case bracket for the Jekyll & Hyde exhaust.
Added some blue loctite and re-torqued..... I should check again, maybe once the temperature cools down.
