Just in front of the battery compartment, just behind and slightly below the Reverse lever; I posted a bunch of pictures in the Reverse Recall thread:

This thread answers a lot of questions for me . My experience with reverse is while backing down my driveway I think I hit the front brake which engaged the hill assist . Because it started to flash and the bike lock up . It was like a parking brake affect.it manage somehow to break it loose . So I won’t be using it going down my driveway way until it hit the bottoms and have to push it up slightly to get on the street. I have had lower back surgery and being careful.

I’m thinking it’s more for level ground and backing out of a parking spot that had a slight incline. With Out using any front or rear brake action.when you release the button it come to a hault pretty fast .im thinking because the DC motor asked like a dynamic brake . Correct me if I’m wrong . I like to learn all I can about this bike . First BMW I ever owned after 40 years on a Harley.
