I first saw the R 18 in the newspapers. There were no brochures, no demonstration model and the BMW caravan had long since moved on.
I never wanted to ride a motorcycle again!!
I blind bought them in June 2020.
From the start, the first sight, I didn't like using the oil cooler. What a very ugly thing. A snow shovel or cow scraper.
Replacement of LMC.
It´s easy to change.


To protect the oil cooler I wanted an extended fender.
Replacement of LMC. The 2 stripes are lined by free hand. Do not drink alcohol or smoke marijuana at work!!
Only drink coffee

The cylinder head covers look original like bald heads.
Replacement of LMC. Made from solid aluminium, no sheet or thin metal for a trumpet.
Now Miss O has nice hair.
You can use the original parts as a fruit bowl, head protection and so on

The "black in black" BMW sign is from Italy.
