Hello, I've been on this forum for a couple of months and decided to share a bit about me, plus this is the first day I've actually gotten my bikes out of the garage so I took a few pictures.
This is my first BMW, I traded my HD Road Glide in for the Galaxy Dusted R18B. I had the dealer install the Vance and Hines exhaust(I removed the baffles thanks to advice found on this forum). I added Wunderlich backrest and luggage rack. I also installed the DNA filter and bracket and threw the cover and snozzles on a shelf. I also added the winglets which I cut to avoid the signals. All this before I've even had a chance to ride it. The dealer delivered the bike via trailer to my house!!
I've owned many motorcyles over the years, mostly Triumph. I'd buy a Triumph today if they had a bagger.
My first motorcycle was a 1974 Harley Davidson Trailie, 90cc thumper and I've been riding ever since.
I'm very excited to get to know the R18B and have a couple of trips planned already.
Here a few photos of the Beauty and the Beast I took today!
