Took out an R18 yesterday for a test ride, took me a few miles to get acclimated to its character so I kept riding... then, a funny thing, it started to feel really good riding it so I kept on going, and going, and going....

You probably can guess how this turned out :-) I am now the owner of a 77-mile R18!

Pictured next to it is what I traded in for it, 2008 Softail Deluxe.

I am by no means new to Boxers and BMW, have thoroughly enjoyed several RT and GS Boxers, just had to get the HD out of my system :-)

Now if I can only get some sound out the R18!

Welcome!

More people need to try them. I'm convinced these will sell more if they do.

Get rid of the chrome plate dead fish hanging on each side.
