Hi David. I see you extended your windshield. Does it help with wind buffet? I’m noticing a little more buffeting than I’d like on my classic.

Yes the Laminar lip helps. Going 75, I needed ear plugs. Now the buffeting is gone. I am still messing with it. Also trying a clamp on adjustable lip.

I installed the Wunderlich deflector and it has helped somewhat, still messing with the angle. But still some buffet which I think may be coming from the sides.

Thick gloves and I can’t feel the heated grips. Thin gloves and hand guards, hands warm .

I would also like to know as I need some for winter riding in the pacific northwest and don't want to go through trial and error buying hand guards that may or may not fit

Thanks....coming in years late. NEED hand guards - what models are these? Mounted w/no adaptations on the R18? I have a 2021 R18 1st Edition.

Um, I have no idea which ones I bought. they mount with the mirrors.

I take them off in the summer. Since Black Dog said what they look like.

Ha. Road 300 miles last 2 days in New England...heated grips cooked my palms while the wind numbed the rest of my hand....I don't give a crap what they look like. BMW sells some that look good - but like every OEM part it cost like 1000% more than an after market
