Adding highway pegs to the engine gards would cost less and work better.Flying down the road with my heels in the air does not help control the motorcycle compared to having your feet planted on some pegs.Your picture is exactly what I thought when I saw these grillers,LOL!
Not for me but hey,to each his own.Enjoy the bounce.
 
I've said it a few times... the BMW OEM Leg Rest looks like something Weber Grill would design.. I like the look of the Wunderlich solution, not crazy about the price though..

Like the "Police Interceptor" badge...
