Front Fender

I think it compliments the Classic look.
 
I don't understand why builders use a small front fender. No protection for radiator or oil coolers. Makes a bike look incomplete.
 
I agree totally. Needs to be longer in back to catch the rocks.
The fender from DK design is expensive but looks terrific. He makes them in several colors.
 
I was looking at it when I bought the headlight cover from them but they were not metal, so I bought a steel one,
modified it and sent it to be painted. I wanted it 1 cm from the tire and the result was
this.

I was a bit disappointed at the plastic nature of the DK fender, but it sustains no forces while riding and stands up just fine.
 
Is this a metal fender? DK Designs states its made from ABS?

I bought DK designs. It is a plastic material. Bixu fabricated his own out of metal and had it painted.
Mine is not rigid like metal, but plenty sturdy for its purpose. I bought it because I didn't like the idea of the chrome engine cover taking a beating. The stock fender is pointless in my opinion.
 
I bought abs plastic . It's sturdy. For $ 94.00 can't beat it. Nobody can see a difference . Everyone likes it.
 
No pin strips.
