Finding R18 fishtails

I’ve seen a couple of threads by people looking for fishtails. My bike came from the dealer with the V&H pipes installed and I wanted the original pipes as well. (If I ever sell it they may go back on). So I asked my local dealer to keep me in mind if they pulled the FT pipes off another bike and the owner was tossing them. Low and behold, a guy had a set of aftermarket pipes installed to go with his bobber build. Score a set of free pipes! So if anyone is looking for a set, try the dealers. Just food for thought.

Now if only some Classic owner would put on a set of forged rims so I can get that front spoked rim...

Yeah that seems crazy to me that anybody would give away those fish tail pipes but I guess it happens.
