Hi greetings from New Zealand, i have had my R18 FE for nearly a year now and have added bits to it to make it look sharper but retain the classic look - in no order changed the pipes, not a big fan of fishtails, put head covers from Roland Sands, higher seat, luggage rack, high performance air filter, and later this week goes in for Dyno tune at my local guys place - will be interesting to see what i get out of it as well as smoothing fuel maps, bit abrupt at low speeds, will dig out photos of before and after soon, cheers
Right have done the dyno - and we found seriously lean at low revs and also found when you decelerate for a bend and you shut off mine shut off the injectors at whatever i was riding at then put them on again at 1480 revs so as i was in a bend it would be pulling again - so we moved the point back to 3000 revs and what a difference and i gained 3.8 HP it is so much smoother right thru the range now and no hiccups in bends or roundabouts - so all good and all done now just ride baby
here are are the before and after photos
yeah dopey me labelled them back to front - but am sure you can see which is which
