just a heads up,i purchased a top case rack from wunderlich when I got the bike.road tripping to Canada in the a.m. crossing that new Gordie howe bridge up to Georgian bay over to the soo.
installed a few over the years on other bikes did the layout drilled holes (you know measure ten times drill once)install the rack I'm cleaning up stuff and I read the directions after install this
premium priced farkle only holds 4lbs.thats its rating.
went to hardware store rack in tow bought rubber washers and fender washers and longer bolts to match hoping to spread the load out.hell I got 2 gallon fuel bag that when filled is 19lbs.
