Exhaust flapper valve ectomy

I successfully removed the servos that close the exhaust flap. Installed the servo buddies and got no codes. I had some trouble getting the top adjuster nut loose. No room to work since I don't have a lift. The servo unit dropped down in 30 seconds, but those adjuster nuts took patience and determination.
It seems like overkill to have those servos close the flaps on the exhaust. Not sure what the objective was.

Euro emissions and/or noise approvals..... or to put it another way.... the cheapest way to meet regulatory requirements.
