There's one of these at the gateway dealership. Everytime I go in there I stare at it. I would do some very shameful things to get to own one of those
That is where I took that picture.
They were still in the old building when I picked up my R18 from them.

What are they asking for it...?
Tbh, I don't know. I have been under the impression it was already sold and the owner hasn't made the time to pick it up yet. I could be wrong. This place is right down the road from where I work and I'm in there all the time (was in there today) and I've bought many bikes from there. I will ask next week when I pop in there

Is there a picture showing leg clearance?
I'm not sure what the "leg clearance" refers to...? There's 94 pictures and two videos on BaT link that Dave sent earlier...

Such a cool looking bike... I wish I had the Craftsmanship, tools and a shop to turn out similar looking bikes...

Legs hitting the air intake. Just curious

Now we know the price point...

Well. not a bargain of course and it is only a replica but still; cannot think of anything else in this class of rideable art next to the Honda Rune.
Compared todays prices of high end models from Honda, HD, Indian, BMW it is quite ok no?!
Also, adding up the donor bike, parts en build, it is not bad either. No custom chopper with this kind of modifictions level is this affordable.
The good thing of it being a replica is that by using it in the real world you are not putting anything historic at risk.
Yes, I dig this bike.

Hands down... My favorite...

As stylish as it is, it is nor real world rideable. It is incredibly sensitive to any wind. It is why dustbin fairing were banned in racing. As a styling excersize though it gets full marks from me.
Apart from that it has great BMW heritage as Ernst Henne set WOW speed records blasting a streamlined BMW over the autobahn. Imagine a speed record of 279.5 km/h (173.7 mph) on a fully faired 500cc supercharged BMW in 1937!!
