Our motorcycle has a very special characteristic: none of the photos we saw before we had it in our hands was useful to see it as it really is when we saw it in person. Well, that said, the same goes for the Cross Country Seat photos. Because I have not achieved a single photograph that shows it in its true dimension. However, here I show it to you

Ok. Now, what you really want: specs, installation, comfort, etc.

The seat is significantly higher than the factory one, which I suppose will be a very good solution for those who are taller than 180 centimeters (that's my height) that I have read somewhere that they have problems. It is a comfortable height for me and although in fact I had no problems with the position of the legs, I feel that now I am even more comfortable. Comfort: it is another level of comfort, you “change” from sitting in the office chair to the sofa at home. Wide, wide and smooth. Installation: Extremely easy: it is simply to remove the rear screw, remove the factory seat, remove the three screws that hold the strap and to put the Cross Country Seat do the exact same thing in the opposite direction

Final: usually Comfort and good looking are not compatible, and, this is not the exception. But, trust me, is not ugly. The only thing that I don’t like is the big passenger pillion, and it’s not removable, but I’m going to buy the passenger back rest and everything will be harmonious again.

There are options coming. Corbin has three versions already. Sargent is working on a seat due out later in the year.

Thanks Luis for the info and photos. I agree, that comfort and good looks are usually mutually exclusive. For that reason, my sport bikes never got more comfortable seats than what they came with. I guess my bum was tougher then. But, with the expectation that the Cross Country seat might be too "cushy" to be pretty, I ordered the Weekender, expecting that it would fall between the real tourer and the torture devise that the stocker is.
Still, the Cross Country is much better looking than what I feared it would be.

No more left on Revzilla. Took the last. I like the Corbin but not enough for the difference in price. Can’t wait to install

Received the Cross Country seat from Revzilla today, 10 mins later it was installed. From the photos posted above I wasn’t sure I’d like it. It looked big. However, in person it’s quite nice. Just like the R18 looks better in person, so does the seat.
Haven’t ridden it yet, but it’s much wider and softer. I think it was a good purchase. Anxious to get the backrest and sissy bar once available.

Yes!!! It’s exactly like our bike. No camera for that beautiful bike and no camera for the seat. Same thoughts. Yes, good purchase

Took a ride today after installing the cross country seat yesterday. Some observations:

Orders of magnitude more comfortable. Seriously this makes exponential difference in ride quality.

the seat sits significantly higher, almost don’t feel in the bike but on it. I may need to get risers for handlebars.

Because of the added height and width, reach to the ground is different. I’m 6 fett so not an issue but something to be aware of.

I am extremely happy with the purchase.

Let me know what handlebar risers are for our bike, and the wires needed becauses of the rise.

Unfortunately I left my bike at the dealer for the first service 😔
Friday I’ll put the odometer picture 😏

Meanwhile, the route...
