Corbin Driver Backrest Modification

Hi,

I recently purchased a Corbin sear and backrest for my TC, I am happy with the the seat but not the backrest position. I find the backrest is to far back, you can adjust the angle of the backrest but not positioning forward or backwards. So my question is has anyone modified the backrest shaft.
