The Connected App was updated for the iPhone 4 days ago, and the maps have improved quite a bit. I haven't had much experience with it yet, but it looks like there is finally real-time rerouting for traffic issues, the symbols are much more apparent. The map file sizes are larger than before, and the app requires you to update the current downloaded maps.
I hope connectivity issues have been addressed. I was doing OK prior to the update in Feb, then I was getting constant temporary disconnects.
