Clearwater Dixi Lights and Billie Brake Light (AC Mod)

Hi Friends,

I just got done Adam Chandlering my bike (R 18 Bagger) with a set of Clearwater Dixi lights and their Billie Brake Light kit. Thanks to Adam's videos, the installation was barely harder than running some extension chords. Took it for a ride tonight and have to say the lights are highly recommended. On low you can see much better than stock and on high it's like daylight in front of you. Will get some pics loaded up soon. Mounted the lights to the Hornig stainless crash bars. I'm in Northern CA, and it was 33 on the ride home tonight, which limited my enthusiasm slightly (older, wiser, maybe not). Cheers.

Hello! I've just installed the Hornig bar, but don't see that size (1.33"/33.8mm) listed on the clearwater light site. What did you use?

Thanks,
Steve

Hi Steve, I believe I used the 1.25". Originally purchased the 1.5", which was too big. The 1.25" wasn't perfect either, but I got it to work. The lights are amazing in the dark and were really easy to install. Plug and play.

I'd concur the Clearwater are great add-ons. I have a set of Ericas on my GSA and at full tilt on a backroad they turn night into day. Huge benefit over the stock fog lights.
