When I first saw an R18 model with the "Manhattan matte" paint scheme I didn't like it. That was a while back. I recently saw a 2024 model at Cycle Werks and realized the optical value of that color.
Are there very any brethren out there that have two (2) R18's?

I have two first editions purchased the second one for the sole purpose of adding a sidecar. I don’t care for the Matte paint, but I understand the attraction for that bad boy bobber style. I like the R18 for the nostalgia look, but it makes a wonderful canvas for the custom stuff especially the blacked out matte finish paints.

I had to smile seeing a matched pair R18's in your garage. At one time I was looking at the B model with the galaxy dust paint. Great optics!

When my son and I show up on there two, everyone stops to talk. Misty things like "I didn't know BMW made these".

Just works if art no matter how you cut it.

In addition to great optics and beauty, my BMWs have always seemed solid, sturdy, & mechanically sound. No rattles. I’m on my 4th now, and may get another.
