Found this solution. I hot tired of trying to find the stock foot pad while coming to a stop . Installed this peg and it works perfectly! Adjusted it down a bit . Now my boot can rest just in front of it and it very little movement forward then brake applied. Now I’m going to work on the shifter. The heel peg needs to be longer in my opinion.

So, the lever peg can be adjusted down ... not the 'floor board'? I just want to understand you correctly ... my problem is that my lever peg is just a bit too high up and it is up against the side of my foot wen I sit comfortably ... and that is annoying. The stock one can not be adjusted and it is to pretty to 'heat and beat' it ;)
Could you send a picture that shows the adjustment ... and maybe a link to the product?

Remove the retaining pin . Loosen the nut on the rod and you can adjust the length of the push rod in or out .

Hmm ... but the return spring will return it to the mechanical stop ... all you do is change the position of the piston within the brake cylinder ... thought of that and dismissed it ...

Remove the pin and turn the yoke the pin goes threw once you remove the pin it will become clear to you what happens when you turn the yoke on the threads .

I will have a look this weekend .. but honestly I am not convinced ... but then I have been wrong before ... once or twice ...

... and what stops the return spring (1) that pulls the lever up against the mechanical stop (2) from pulling the piston right out of the brake cylinder (3)?
I understand your thinking ... and maybe it works ... but the mechanical stop and the return spring dictate the position (resting position) of the lever, all you do by shortening or lengthening the push rod is change the resting position of the brake piston in the brake cylinder ... but as I said, I will have another closer look coming weekend ...

Love it… I lengthened my front peg as well and intend on doing the rear one as well, on my Road King for the rear shifter I put an extended shift arm from J&P cycles to give me more real estate on the floor board, considering doing same on the R18
