BMW R18 TC Leg Shield / removal / install

I need to change my right hand crash bar due to an unfortunate interaction with a tiny red car. (Which came off the worse for wear) The bar itself is easy to unbolt, however, does anybody know how to remove the legshield without doing damage? There is only one visible bolt at the bottom.

See an earlier post where I tried to detail the three pieces and the assembly & disassembling of the Lower Leg Wind Protection; in short, remove the bottom screw which ties into the engine protection bar. Next, pull piece No. 3 apart as it is held in by friction clips, that will expose the inner screws in order to disassemble everything:

Got it, No 3 (as in your picture, essentially a cover facing forward) is just held by three clips and will just pull off. Will advise as to results!
