Hi guys,
Does BMW R18 B Transcontinental Cover Cockpit Seat Holder have two different versions?which functions does it have ?Is it HUD?

Apparently this is to do with the radio frequency/waves but only found on North American models. In Europe none of the B or TC
comes equipped with that antenna/sensor.
Now a HUD would have been one hell of an accessory on either model.

There is a german company that has a HUD eyepiece that fits in various helmets, pretty slick, but so is the price!

If you look at the attached picture; the yellow dot is a GPS antenna; which probably supports the navigation system and satellite radio.

The green dot is a FM/AM patch antenna for the terrestrial radio stations.

The picture was taken when I was adding the TC Auxiliary Lights, Directionals and Bracket to my Bagger model.
