BMW Motorrad Navigator VI?

Some threads show where folks have mounted a GPS.
I've had Nav IV, V and VI on my BMWs over the years and the different models interact with the Nav units differently (GS/A shows many times the data v. RT, etc.). I think you will find on the R18 it will not interface at all and will act as a "standard" GPS. I did add the Nav IV cradle that is still available from BMW to my KTM. It has the function buttons (zoom, etc.) along the edge adjacent to the Nav and it allowed me to use my Nav V and VI on both my BMW and KTM with a quick swop. Some other similar options out there too. Here's some examples, good luck.
