Insta360 X4 Air and not too long of a stick.
Trying to keep it reachable (start/stop recording) and stable / reliable.



This is why I also used a silicone band support as a safety measure.

Last few years been 200K to 350K depending on which data you look at. In the 90s we it hit 1/2 million in attendance several years.

Which mounting hardware are you using? I just purchased the X4 Air with the Motorcycle Bundle but the clamp doesn't securely fit the mirror arm. I added it to Bag crash bar

I mixed and matched mounts until I found what works for me prioritizing security, safety and looks.
This setup is safely secured, within easy reach of my left hand to star / stop recoding and blends in the looks.

I use the Rear View Mirror Mount base.

This last is just precautionary.

The trick is to set the ball joint base in a maxed out angle so that no further movement down or back is allowed.



Tested over long and fast distances.

To further improve safety of operation of the Insta360 X4 Air, I just got the Ring Remote.
Now I don't even have to take my hand of the handlebars.
The additional benefit is that I will be less hesitant on start / stop recording which should make editing easier. Shorter clips make editing easier.
