Has anyone installed one of these on a classic?
This makes no sense to me. When installed, the two screws, (3) in the picture, near the seat prevent the seat holder from sitting low enough to keep the seat secure. The BMW instructions don't show the seat holder.
From the user manual below. When the pillion seat is removed, the seat holder goes behind the front seat. The seat holder hides the screw holes from the pillion seat. I can install the rack without the seat holder, but all of the screws and brackets are exposed and look terrible.
