Am I the only one to try the rider pegs? I tested it out and it actually was really comfortable at least for me. I don’t think I’ve seen it…no engine heat.

I thought people didn’t do it because they were afraid of the engine hitting their legs lol. My legs/ankle are about 3 inches from the cylinders, and the covers are not that hot anyways. The width is only 4 more inches wider than my legs on my GL1500.

My main worry is in the event of a tip over, the pegs may fold in and damage the head cover. Plus my legs are too short haha.

I've run these for a year or so on my r nine t........ hasn't really worked..... probally because it forces my legs too wide.

For me at 5'7", I tried all the positions and this is what I like the most. No issue with heat.

It’s about the same as on my Goldwing so it doesn’t bother me

Can't air them out in the R18..... seat is to low.... gravel rash is real....
