Aluminium or stainless?

Morning all,

Are these covers aluminum or some sort of satin paint on stainless? Are they easy to live with or do they mark up really easily with bug splats and stone chips for example? Just considering a change.

Hi mate,
It looks like they are aluminium. I like to think they have been finished with certain levels of protection to avoid to some extent the possibility of damaging the surface.

Yea, in the middle of maybe a change. Not sure, so just finding out what’s what.
