    Orange Triangle on Speedo Screen

The service light is gone, no problem there. I think at this point we were talking about flashing the engine?

    Is that space normal?

Sorry for the bad picture, but that is a gap where the forks attract to the steerer. It’s the same on both sides but why would there be a spare there??

    Orange Triangle on Speedo Screen

I really don't know. I didn't do anything to it but the previous owner may have. I'll ask

Swap a Corbin Gun Fighter for a 2-up?

Hey all, I have a wonderful problem! I have started seeing a backpack, but my gunfighter is a one-seater. Does anyone have a 2-up seat they'd like to swap for my one seater? Let me know!

What did you do to your R18 today?

Changed the brake pads today. Rear and left front were easy. Front right the pin got stuck on something and i had to take the calipers apart to get the pads out, put it all back together again and bled the brakes

    Bull horn handle bars

I had an 1100 Virago too and wish the bars could be swapped, they were in such a perfect position for my hands. The BMW is fine, just different, but if there was one thing I could change...

What did you do to your R18 today?

I rode from Lancaster PA to Wilmington NC on Thursday and got poured on for a bit. Then yesterday i rode back to lancaster and nearly melted in the heat. It was sooooooo hhhaaawwwttt out. But it was a great ride. 1000 mile round trip.

What did you do to your R18 today?

https://www.dkdesign-global.com/product-page/dkdesign-bmw-r18-headlight-fairing I had the yellow light cover on it for a long time but I have since removed it. I felt like it cut too much light when riding in the dark.

What did you do to your R18 today?

Today my father in law, my son and i all worked together to change the oil, adjust the valves and replace the air filter. Took longer than i had anticipated but what a difference!! Valves were way out of spec and the oil was much older than I’m comfortable admitting lol and the air filter was...

What did you do to your R18 today?

I went to a bikes and coffee meet up this morning and spilled my coffee on my bike. Glad it was mine. The bike definitely stood out in the sea of Road Kings and Sportsters that were there. Quite a few people came over and asked questions and took pics. So that was nice.

    Battery tender hook up leads

I am thinking of moving mine a bit too so I don't have to take that cover off when I need it.

    BMW R18 battery cover?

bummer! Be aware that when you do get a new one, if you order it from BMW you also need to order the grommets and the name plate. I tried finding grommets that worked and couldn't. I also rigged a tether to mine so if it falls off again I at least have a chance of hanging onto it lol

    Battery tender hook up leads

I ran a pigtail to the right side and hid it behind the cover. Positive got attached to the jump pin, and negative to the screw for the tool cover panel closest to it. But mine is a FE, so way less electronics involved. I'd be more careful if I had the B or TC...
