Very true the most popular forum software is XenForo. Vertical scope uses that on all their sites and we also use it here.. it subscription based so you initially purchased the software then you pay a subscription fee every year for the updates and most of the themes are made by third parties so...

For now I have fixed this by changing the site theme... PS we are not part of verticalscope. We are independent.;)
