Removing Freedom Performance baffles coupled with BrenTune to increase grumble

While I was having the exhaust installed I also had them remove the servos (is that what you mean by deactivate exhaust valve?) As well as I installed the DNA air filter and the --all prior to the brentune. In talking with BT-moto Brenture AI chat --so I'm not messing around with multiple...

Removing Freedom Performance baffles coupled with BrenTune to increase grumble

So I installed the FP 4.5 slip-ons. Definitely love the deep grumble when accelerating --other than accelerating it added almost no extra noise. Talked to a tech at FP he said removing the baffles at the tips of the pipes is a simple job and increases the noise at idle and cruising --however at...

R18 TC with drilled out exhaust baffles video

Ah... so the Bren tune can automatically detect and calculate the nec. low end torque missing and compensate. Thats pretty cool. Makes me more inclined to try it

R18 TC with drilled out exhaust baffles video

Ok and for those that come after here's a video FP just sent me. Different bike/exhaust but same concept to remove the end caps etc.

R18 TC with drilled out exhaust baffles video

Talked to the tech guy at freedomperformexhaust.com, turns out it's a fairly simple unscrewing of both end cap and baffles. The downside is it's a trade off. By removing the baffles one "will lose some low end torque but it will be louder." @moleculo did you experience significant or...

R18 TC with drilled out exhaust baffles video

I had Freedom Performance 4.5 exhausts installed (in black w/ silver tip ends) I had the servos removed completely --as well as a BT Moto Tune. Definitely felt a power increase. Great deep throaty rumble on acceleration but with no acceleration is where it's nearly no different sounding than the...

    Exhaust Servo

Just to chime in... When I had the Freedom Performance 4.5 exhausts installed I had the servos removed completely --as well as a BT Moto Tune. Definitely felt a power increase. (Still not loud enough at idle for my taste tho)

What considerations when swapping Classic front tire to standard?

I think I prefer the standard front tire look over the classic. What are the considerations need to be looked at? Is it an easy pop on with the new rim and tire? Can I keep the same fender? Will it raise the front? Make it easier or harder in handling? Thx

Indicator: WARN with Wrench Icon prompt - BT MOTO Brentune

I guess to get to the bottom of this... I need the GS911 after all. I am expecting that will define exactly WHAT "service" is necessary. Does the GS911 WIFI come with the 16-pin OBD2 connector? Or is that yet another piece/cable I need to buy to connect the GS to the bike?

Indicator: WARN with Wrench Icon prompt - BT MOTO Brentune

Maybe it's worse than I think... now I'm afraid to ride to the dealers. Which --apoprears in this case I'll have to revert back to factor CPU. F

Indicator: WARN with Wrench Icon prompt - BT MOTO Brentune

Just heard about the Moto Scan App.... That appears to work too...? This guy finally gets around to canning the gs911m, preferring the MotoScan but I'm not so sure I believe him. :ROFLMAO: www.youtube.com/watch?v=PYx0wYnmBOQ And just to throw this AI reply into the mix... So I wrote BT-moto...

Indicator: WARN with Wrench Icon prompt - BT MOTO Brentune

Bingo - that's the answer I was hoping for --thank you. However resetting the reminder is still something I would prefer to do myself --now I guess that means investing in gs911

Indicator: WARN with Wrench Icon prompt - BT MOTO Brentune

I thought the dealer reset it when I took it in to have the Reverse disabled I told them I did the service myself and asked him to reset it. Maybe he didn't. I' forgot to follow up and ask. But at least i know I can't do it myself with the Brentune thing. If they didn't reset it and it's...

Indicator: WARN with Wrench Icon prompt - BT MOTO Brentune

So my WARN with a wrench icon indicator popped up today at 2000 miles. That means service due? I did all the liquids service myself at 600 miles. Is that what it is prompting for? Or is there another service at 2000? I thought it was at 600 miles and 5000 miles. I have BT MORO Brentune CPU...

What did you do to your R18 today?

Popped on a Freedom mufflers Popped off the servos and cables. More power. Better sound. No error codes. Looks better (to me) Now I just need a better seat but there's nothing out there I like. I like the Air-flow covers --but they don't seem to come for the R18 single seat. Adding: A day...
