How interchangeable are BMW parts? I am looking at the handlebar from the K1600B. Anyone think it would fit? Part number is 32718356794.

I think the OEM bar on my R18 Classic is too wide. Has anyone replaced theirs with a more narrow one? I don't want a flat bar or a drag bar. Just something more manageable with a nice bend toward the rider. Anyone?

Current set up

My bike came with the Option 719 seats. I bought the Wunderlich seats. The Wundelich rider's seat is 1 inch taller. I also bought the BMW solo seat and I would say that one is about 3 inches taller. I will try and see if I can fit the Wunderlich passenger seat with the solo seat. The Option 719...

You sit quite a bit higher which I like. It's less cruiser like and more roadster like. The seat is firm but I don't mind.

So I too fitted the solo seat. I think the bike looks awesome now. I'll try and fit a passenger seat at some point so my wife can ride with me. As mentioned elsewhere, the seat is FIRM. It's also quite taller which makes the bike even better IMO. Best seat yet.

Dealer was able to fix the bushings and re-thread them. It wasn't easy (or so I was told) to remove the broken screws. My bike's all better now. I'll be dreaming sweet dreams tonight.
