I've seen yours and others in action Scott and whilst they look ok, I am not a fan of one trick ponies, hence my reticence for the service plate.

    Hornig Crash Bars Lean Angle

If you need more angle than this you need another bike!

Not sure Scott, I'm actually wondering the benefit of this plate. Looking at the images of the plate, you could either put a further hole it for the drain plug or a bit of ali foil to guide the oil like on H-D. I think the plug would be accessible but awkward without a new hole. My thinking was...

    Service light

I have a fire tablet myself. It's crap. I went through all of the unlocking and side bar loading only for Amazon to lock it down with the next update. Personally I would use a cheap android mobile. The software is NOT available for apple products. Use the motoscan app from the play store...

    Service light

Is Motoscan now available on iPhone, it used to be Android only. In MS go to menu - Adapter check is it seen there?

    Service light

It won't work on iPhone at all and Fire tablets are renowned for locking down their devices.

    Service light

Does it appear in your bluetooth list in the Motoscan setttings? Does motoscan "see" and use it?

    Service light

Yes that's a very good one, the top of line version of the LX posted earlier.

    Hornig Crash Bars Lean Angle

No they don't and the lean angle of the B & TC is greater than the FE.

Saw it a few months back. Apologies I thought that we were all aware. I'm looking at getting the service plate for erm, servicing, Alight variation with measurements. The plate is 10mm thick: The standoffs are M10 x 45mm and M10 x 90mm

    Mass Frustration

It's got to be the clutch switch then bud. It might have gotten knocked or such like. Does it start in gear?

    Mass Frustration

What exactly did you change at the bars. If it was working before and now isn't then that is something that you have done. As fleabag says, you have likely disturbed an electrical connector. Did you remove any pins in the connectors? Have you actually checked them and any plugs? The clutch...

Maintenance Mate tool (UK owners probably)

This works bud. Android only though. Some use a cheap burner to run it. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.wgsoft.motoscan&hl=en&gl=US&pli=1

Maintenance Mate tool (UK owners probably)

Looks to be packaged/branded by Healtech. They do servo eliminators and fuse blocks. They're decent manufacturers. I am running Motoscan on Android which is simple to use.

Did you get your shaft lubed yet?

I think the treatment is likely to be just as effective with a squirt of moly spray for the lubrication and followed up with white lithium grease for the waterproofing for those not on a recall list , BUT as an RT owner I can tell you that sprays into the splines does NOT work. Now it looks...

    Adaptive Headlight Recall Update

Mine came up this morning when I searched on Motorrad UK. 2 weeks ago it wasn't there. I wasn't expecting a manufacturers statement to be read out to me over the phone though! Dare I say it...the adaptive headlight is no better than the standard one as far as I can see. ("see" what I did there...

    Adaptive Headlight Recall Update

Just spoke to my dealer in the UK about this. The UK "service bulletin" is to literally read out a statement from BMW saying that there is a risk of the light failing and loose pieces being heard or seen in the headlight, but that this "should" not affect the beam :ROFLMAO: We Brits get...
