The wire causing the issue is the white wire that can be wired to a switched power or not used. My power and ground are going to the battery.

Which one, one on dash or down by shifter? If the dash socket has the windscreen been removed recently and possibly the socket was not re-connected?

Cant remember what wire I had chose before but both came from the same non connected harness that was under the seat for the rear case on the T/C.

I had that issue when I installed it on mine, turns out the switched power I thought I chose was not a switched power. Double check the polarity of that cable with a voltmeter.

Remembered it was a pain but not as much of a pain as it is. The top hinge remove the 2 screws on the inside of the lid and lift carefully from bottom. The bottom hinge is more complicated. You have to remove all 9 screws, 4 on outside and 5 in the case. Then completely remove the hinge...

OK no screws on the bottom hinge cover. They are just clipped on very well so be careful not to break the clips.

Somehow I placed the bottom parts somewhere that I would not lose them because I wanted to wait until I got the top parts, and like normal I cannot find them now... :mad:

I always take the wheels/tires off my K1600 and take them in to get the tires mounted and balanced. Dont think I will be doing that for my R18B, I think I will save all the headache and just take it in

How did you power the clearwater lights? Did you use one of the add on power distribution fuse blocks?

Be careful when you take your bike in for the reverse gear fix.... Need to ensure you tell them not to update your bike, if they do it will wipe that tune
