    So...the R18 bagger

I sometimes go through similar dilemma’s. If it makes you happy, doesn’t hurt anyone else and you are still reasonably covered financially, then why not? It’s not like 100% of your investment will be irredeemable. The bike will always be worth something. Relish your excitement and enjoy the new...

    Rate the R18 Please ! ! !

Glad to see it has won you over. I seem to remember reading your initial experience wasn’t so good.

    So...the R18 bagger

Don’t feel guilty. It is just a piece of metal and preferring one piece of metal over another is no big deal. I have the Classic but can appreciate the bagger especially in the States. For me in the UK I like the fact I can strip my Classic down to single bare bones or dress her up for two up...

Bren Tuners: Let us hear what you think!

GS-911 seems to be a pretty popular solution for BMW motorcycles.

Bren Tuners: Let us hear what you think!

As far as I am aware, it’s diagnostic abilities might be limited. I think you can only think of this as a way of tuning the vehicle across all three modes and then being able to remove that tune within a matter of minutes. Should there be developments in the tune, you will already have the tool...

    UK Motorcycle Insurance

3000 miles is what they base the quote on. If you think you might do more, they need to be aware. It is not hard and fast as far as I am aware however, if you did significantly more miles, it would possibly have a detrimental effect on your cover. Just done done checking and I can get the quote...

    So...the R18 bagger

I can’t see why you would want the two although there are one or two on here who have two or three R18’s. Ride the bagger and if it delivers what you are looking for, exchange the Classic.

    UK Motorcycle Insurance

My insurer LV will no longer be offering Motorcycle Insurance going forward. My current policy expires September. Any particular recommendations anyone? Currently paying £220.00 fully comp for 3000 miles. When I called around last year, quote was similar from the likes of Bikesure, Bennett’s, etc.

Is there a BMW shop manual out for our bikes yet? Or, an electronic version?

There is a knowledgeable site on YouTube showing that very chore. An example below

    Brentune completed!

No need to send anything away. Take a look elsewhere on this forum for instructions on the BrenTune. It really does improve the bike but in a subtle manner.

Who has The Galaxy Dust Metallic paint on their Bike is it really worth the extra money !!!! Lets see pictures

I had the denim black (Matt) on my Harley. Following ten years of ownership there was not a mark on it. I would expect similar from BMW.

    Closer reach handle bars

Hi Fernando Those BMW version look better in my opinion and something I might consider if my cheaper offering provide the reach I was looking for.

    Closer reach handle bars

What did you like about the more expensive version Fernando? I don't think I have seen them.

    BMW (Mustang) Seat options breakdown

I think it might only be available via BMW and not directly from Mustang

    Closer reach handle bars

Hi Tony They arrived the day before I went offshore. Home again in a couple of weeks. Will report further then. Quality wise, they certainly look the part.

    Most comfortable seat

The DayTripper from Mustang has proved a big improvement whilst keeping similar lines / silhouette to the original.
