I totally agree with you on the vibes at higher speeds. With me trying to work on my very aggressive riding style the vibes have forced me to stay at more sensible speeds. BTW I would recommend purchasing some Grip Puppies. After some time the vibes on the throttle side grip began to annoy me.
After two weeks maps are once again working on my TC TFT screen. Oddly as soon as I decided to ride out to my dealer all was well after topping off my fuel tank.
My seating situation was so dire that I purchased a cross country seat which is not designed for my TC at all. I was able to modify the seat pan to fit over all the connections for the TC. I got lucky and it all worked out. I can now take my planned trips! I have noticed that every bike I have...
I have the BugBike straight headers installed on my TC. The sound and added performance are worth it. BTW all four oxy sensors are still retained. Anything that restricts the exhaust restricts performance/HP. Luckily there are no codes when disconnecting servos. BMW and Wunderlic offer taller...
Saw a red classic at BMW Cleveland yesterday. That color is beautiful!!!! Now I am nervous as to what I'll do if the TC comes in red at some point. My dealer received the red classic Monday. And yes, that color had me asking questions like that! lol
TC with stock seat was horrible for me also. After owning 10 bikes and 1 Can Am Spyder I have always had to modify or replace the stock seats. Get yourself the cross country seat and you'll be happy IMO.
Ride a TC. Modified and reinforced a cross country seat and mounted it on my TC. Added Wunderlic oil cooler chrome cover. Modified chrome diesel truck exhaust tips and attached to Freedom Performance exhaust. Also have the BugBike cat delete headers. Not impressed with the look of the new...
Had to modify and reinforce seat pan to make room for stereo and saddle bag wiring. Comfort makes effort worthwhile. Finally found exhaust tips that gave me the look I wanted.
TC. Once I saw it in person my life's mission was to own one. Had to sacrifice my 2018 Goldwing to get it. As of yet I have not seen another TC on the roads of northeast Ohio which I like. Being a little different is why I purchased the TC and not a Harley.
Has anyone else had an issue with their TC passenger floorboards C clips coming off? I rode to work a few weeks ago and a coworker let me know that my right floorboard was about to come off. The pin had slid out a bit and the floorboard was at an angle. Replaced clip with one from my jobs...
I have a TC and only used to make sure I knew how it worked. On my 2018 Goldwing I used reverse often as that bike was tall for me. R18's are so low I doubt one would use reverse unless they were in an awkward parking situation. "Like condoms or fire arms ..........better to have and not need...
No luck. BMW rep said "sure I don't see why you can't install a cross country seat". But after doing my own research I noticed that my TC has many more electrical connections that reside under its seat compared to the Classic or R18. I'm sure a TC or Bagger seat would fit the Classic. But a seat...
You may need the 20in. I'm 5'9" and have the comfort tall seat. I still look over the 20in 7Jurock about of 2in. and have no buffeting issues or eyes watering with my helmet visor up.
I'll try and give you a response if able to find out. BMW will be at my dealer this afternoon and that is what I want to ask. I have a TC and want to buy the cross-country seat that is only available for non B and TC R18's.
I took my ex-girlfriend for a decently long ride on my TC and she enjoyed it. BTW she hated riding on my Can Am Spyder F3T and my old 2018 GW manual. She always complained that my two old bikes were too smooth. By too smooth I think she meant boring? My TC is the first bike I've owned that I...
Is anyone also curious as to why there is no cross-country seat option for the B or TC? I made the error of purchasing the tall "comfort" seat and my back side is very disappointed.
