I contacted my dealership to try to schedule the reverse recall fix and they said they don’t know anything about a fix, they haven’t gotten a bulletin from BMW and theres nothing on the website. Anybody have any ideas who to call at BMW to inform my dealership?

What I’m currently wearing - Horsehide from Hillside Leather, excellent quality, a little stiff til you break it in, very heavy, very warm, zip out liner. Fully perforated Road Armor from Skullriderz, armor in shoulders, elbows, back, - very comfortable in hot conditions but needs a windproof...

Added mini-apes, bar end mirrors, and bar end turn signals, love the look and all works really well.

I guess the traffic is better where you guys ride. I use my horn periodically to announce my presence to a driver obviously unaware in order to avoid impending doom and the stock wimpy horn just didn’t do it.

I made that change recently and although I don’t have a decibel meter I didn’t need one. The sound from the Clarton was very obviously much louder than the stock one. Why yours wasn’t I couldn’t say, but the difference on mine is very obvious.

When I bought my homage seat 1 1/2 years ago it wasn’t available so I searched online for one for sale and found one for sale in stock at a dealership in another state. Worth the trouble though.

ST2 brakelight module, activates brakelight when you decelerate by engine braking or downshifting without using brakes. Supposed to work with R18 but I couldn’t figure out the wiring so I never hooked it up. Cost $90, sell for $50.

Well, at least they’re replacing it. I hope it’s only batteries you have such bad luck with, that’s some bad battery juju.

LiFePo4 BMS failures are usually caused by overcharging. (Less often undercharging or operating in extreme temperatures) Did you try resetting the BMS (sometimes works)? If that doesn’t work You can replace a BMS much cheaper than replacing a battery.

Wow, you must have extremely bad luck. I’ve had 3 Shorais and each one has lasted over 10 years. I hope you find something that works for you.
