My Roland Sands 1st Edition came with the damper. They just dont put them on all models. All depends are what configurations BMW wanted to send out.

No cable adjust it's a hydraulic clutch system. So no clutch adjustment per say. I think he hasn't let the clutch out enough. I would check the clutch lever fluid level maybe it got air in the line and just needs to be bleed.

I have all my light on including hi beam, an no problem. I have always used the red kill switch then wait a little while ie get off the bike remove my helmet then turn the bike off. Only time I had any problem is right before my battery died.

Updating the ecu is part of the fix, not sure why they said it isn't. You will need to reset any of the settings you have done because it puts everything to factory settings.

Its not that they lost your setting, they had to do a systems upgrade which drops all the prior settings and resets all new factory settings. They do this when there are a number of things that have to be updated. Sure its a pain to reset the things to your prefered setup. But that is how its...
