Picture of machined clutch and brake reservoir covers installed on chrome

Hi,

I’m interested in possibly purchasing the optional machined finished front clutch/brake reservoir covers shown in the attached picture and maybe the matching rear brake reservoir cover. You can’t add them to the BMW configurator for the R18 if you have the chrome package (I’ve got the R18 Classic with the chrome option). If you have any picture(s) of them installed can you post them please? I’ve found some custom bikes online that have them installed with black handlebars or black mirrors but not on a bike with the chrome package.

Take a look at the bottom of the speedo, sure be a constant reminder, of the folks that brought you World War I and World War II.

If you analyzing my speedometer so closely you will notice it displays 175.2 miles which is within the break in period. I left it in roll to keep myself from being too aggressive during the break in period.
 
For an example I printed up some pictures of the reservoir covers and put them over my existing ones to see how they look. I think with the chrome it isn't what I'd want. If the bars were black it wouldn't be such a harsh transition.
