7Jurock - looks like another company gone bad ...

Too bad ... looks like another company gone to $hits ... I bought a windshield from 7Jurock 4 years of years ago and completely love it ... I thought: well it is time to renew it and change the style slightly ... went ahead and ordered it via their website. I realized pretty quick something is off ... soon after ordering I got an email stating I should pay my invoice. So I checked with the bank and low and behold the money was deducted, so I contacted them. Here I received the only communication from them telling me that all is fine and that the order is in and paid for ... couple days later another 'Pay your bill' email. I tried contacting them again via email and phone ... no reply and nobody picked up the phone. I logged into the website and it shows my old and new order ... but no tracking number or any indication that it was sent (it has been 2 weeks so far). Here is what I saw in my account on their web site:

I guess it is 'not ready'?

This double irks me because my bike is one of the sample pics on the ordering page!!

Anyway ... end of rant!

... just one thing, I would discourage anybody from ordering from 7Jurock at this time ... I will update this thread if something changes.
 
I had really looked at the Jurock shield for my TC. They never responded to emails, phone calls or messages left on their Contact Us on the web site. I ended up with the Klock Werks shield on the TC it works great for me. I agree, stay away from them.

I did get 1 email reply right in the beginning ... and then dead silence ... and I did get a fender from Klock Werks ... took a bit but super quality and good communication.
 
I ordered a windshield from them last year - I found out that Tristan(the owner) is highly unreliable and does not return calls or emails. I finally got my windscreen and found that it was too short. After many attempts Tristan finally got back to me and promised to send me another windscreen and not to worry. That was last November and I have not been able to reach him since by phone or email. I gave up. I still have the new 18" windscreen sitting in a box in my garage.

Damn!!! They must really have gone down the drain ... when I bought my initial windshield in 22 they were super responsive and great to work with ... a real shame!
 
That is too bad ...thanks for the info!
I will give it until next week and if I still can't get through on the phone or hear from them otherwise, I will see if I can recover the money that they already deducted from my account.
 
Ulrich, another BMW forum ( K1600 ), member stated that he received windscreen 7 weeks after ordering this year ; ‘ death in the family / Tristan trying to catch up on orders ‘. Hopefully this is the case. No communication after order placed, package eventually arrived.

Tristan told me the same thing last November. Still waiting though I have given up.

Thanks for that info ... fingers crossed that is the case here as well!

Yup ... you technically received the wares ... just the wrong one!

I am not really much worried about getting the money back I used Pay-Pal ... they are pretty good about that ... it just really irks me because for our bikes there are limited options and it looks like we are minus one ...

Yup ... I feel the same way .. I tried contacting them again .. no luck no voicemail box ... the phone just rings and rings and no response to emails ... I am very close to try and recover my cash ... do you have a link for the Amazon one?
 
Well wouldn't you know it!!! just 4 days short of a month a windshield arrived ... no warning no communication simply noting it just showed up ... still same great quality as the last one !!
So good folks from 7Jurock (or somebody that knows them can tell them)... You have a great product ... your prices are reasonable ... but your communications skills suck!!!
I was in no hurry ... so if you would have told me that it will take 4 weeks so be it! ... it is a custom windshield $hit takes time!! as long as I am not completely being ghosted!
I was an inch away from starting procedures about getting my funds back ... now I am glad I didn't.
 
I am glad you got your shield as I was about to contact Jurok about getting one. My first one took close to 3 weeks to arrive. It is a superior shield.

That is what had me so puzzled ... the first one took under 2 weeks and there was great communications ... it is really a shame IMO
