Time to move on chaps

I get it. All bikes are cool in their particular way. We don’t last forever so you gotta do what you gotta do. A Hayabusa is definitely cool.

I’m 63 now and have realised that there is no “later”. When I get restless and want to try a different bike I just do it. When I was younger I was more likely to hang on to a bike out of some weird sense of loyalty. Which made sense to me at the time as life seemed to stretch on forever ahead of me. I had time.

Now I’m still healthy and enjoying riding, but, I can no longer be in denial about how finite life is. If one can afford it, why not ride what you want?
Yea there’s definitely a bit of that involved, last year we went to the funeral of our previous next door neighbour. Paul was the same age as me. These life events do shape us.
