The R18 models are a bit surprising for mé in this aspect. I have owned and ridden a great many motorbikes over the 50+ yeasr of motorcycling as life ´style´ but this is the the first one with that this markedly.
I have not put it on scales (maybe someone can?) but I suspect that the weight balance is relatively forward. The steering head angle, rake, does the rest.

I've ordered a new set of tyres for the beast, I've put 4,000ks on the the Commander III's and they are horrible (in my opinion) noisy, hard, poor shape and slippery.
Have a set of Pirelli Night Dragons coming, will let you know what I think.
