BMW R18
Hello from a wet Manchester UK. Just picked up my R18 base model. I was having the GSA serviced and an 18 was on display in the coffee area. I became transfixed with it. Bought a 2023 with limited paint scheme (frozen orange) only 169 miles on the clock. Done a 100 miles, and what an experience, I love it. Just ordered some pro race cans as it does need some noise a looking at the Wunderkind rear lights and tail plate eliminator.

Thanks all, I’ll post some photos once I’ve started ‘playing’ with her. I hated the pipes and ordered some pro race cans but the originals are actually growing on me. Very quiet though

Apologies for the late response, also welcome to you, new member myself, bought my R18 Classic last November and live just north of Manchester, might see you out one day, not yet seen another R18 yet so I will keep an eye out for you, should be easy to spot you on such a lovely model.

Thanks for the welcome. Ive only completed 300 miles so far but no R18s either. I haven't been to any bike gatherings in those miles though. Im in S Manchester so Leek, Buxton etc. are on my doorstep. Great roads but the pegs are suffering! if you plan to go to any meets then drop me a message , me great to chat R18s to someone that will listen!
