I actually was looking for a set of WW to replace my existing tyres as the front one is close to the legal limit and the rear has a screw in but not letting air out. I could not find WW anywhere for my bagger so I ended up buying another set of H50 which arrived today and seriously considering painting them 🫣🤫

Tried out reverse after the recall fix.... does feel a bit more gentle now..... also did the bren tune reload thing ($200 for device reset and new map after dealer ecu update with reverse recall). Runs much better with the tune. All is back to being good in my R18 world.

I ordered the Mini-LED kit for the R18 Model B | TC from a seller on eBay; parts arrive today, I'm looking to minimize the look of my Model B with a similar look that I used on the Bobber build..

More to follow:

Package arrived yesterday... Ugh..!!!! The box only included a single directional light; however, priced as a "set"...

I might try a different adapter method before I spend another $250...

That sucks. Sorry to read that.
Mods are intended to be a fun experience and things like this therefore doubly deflating.

Hey Star-L, did you ever buy the Brentune remap for your model B?
I ask because you are a “go-to” guy on this forum.
I did a similar remap ($350) for a Kawasaki Voyage some years ago that made a big difference.

No on BT... I work for the City of NY, not Wall St ... The R18 has plenty of HP for my riding style and or skill level..

Same here. Mind you, I have raced all sorts and have a medal of the Isle of Man TT ;)

My faffing with the flow is simply because I cannot leave well enough alone 🫣 with the agrument of improving the running within factory parameters 😇

Today’s to do list included a DNA Stage2 air filter kit, Bren Tune install, and finally the accessory BMW Bagger handlebar.

A very brief test ride confirmed that the Bagger handlebar will pay dividends once a custom seat (+2”) gets built.

It’s an accessory replacement fromBMW, they call it the “Bagger” bar.

It moves your hands significantly higher and a little closer to you than the stock bar.

Stock bar behind the “Bagger” bar for reference

Nice. Any ride impressions regarding the tune and filter?

Well actually didn't do a thing other than think: "... you know .... sometimes it is just as good as it gets" looking out into the shop/garage ;)

The 'Ol'Girl' doesn't run right now ... as you may notice I am working on the clutch ... but ... nevertheless ... it is as good as it gets at this time 😁

I never heard of it until now. Was tired of reaching for my bars so I altered bars from an R1200c. Happy now.

I am always thinking of ways to make my Rocky a bit more individual, and always thought the fuel tank looks a bit bland and featureless, so I fitted this centre console along with my Navigation. It was designed for the older Classic and First Edition models but it fits the Roctane perfectly. I am not usually a fan of 'bling' but quite pleased with the look and it might give me stealthy place to put my Jeckyl & Hyde switch.

Do you have a link to the mount or a part number? It would also be great to add to my Roctane!

I finally got around to installing the TC Mini-LED front directionals on my Model B; I'm going for a cleaner look on my B, removed the Engine Protection Bar and the TC lower leg wind protection fairing.. now that the temperature is dropping, I might re-install..

The directionals are plenty bright, and almost invisible when not illuminated; however, I wish the OEM connectors would fit inside the Auxiliary Lights mounting bar, for a cleaner wiring look... I might take it all apart and redo it ..

All I did today was get an agreement together with PRO RACE UK and now my shop is an official installer and dealer for the stuff they make. We are going to be doing a group buy on the SR-1 system but I sent a message to admin first to make sure I don't post something that might violate forum rules. Only details I can give now is that it's for a 20 unit group buy! So let's get thinking, deep discounts. Just for inspiration ill leave a picture !
