Bike
2022 R18 Classic
Just traded in my bike and the only thing I did was to make sure the stock seat got put back on before I signed the R18 away. May that stock seat burn in hell.

The Weekender seat set is good shape. No rips, tears, or cuts. A bit of wear on the little flap that covers the drivers backrest mounting hole. It was on the bike for roughly 8000mi over the course of two years.

Also, I have:

-the actuator for the exhaust baffles
-the intake tubes and air box cover (everything you would remove if you went with the DNA filter kit)
-Stock classic exhaust with some light scuffs, scratches, and dings....also baffle tubes are drilled out. (Shark Road slip-ons went with the bike).

If anyone has any offers for the seat set, let me know. If anyone is actually interested in the exhaust or other items, I'll snap a few photos of them tomorrow.

Edit: weekender seat...not cross country

Kevin,
I am in Pittsburgh also, with as 23 R18 Classic. Does anyone know how much the Weekender seat is higher than the stock seat? I am using a 1 1/2 gel pad to get a little more height. I have removed the passenger seat but added the backrest from Poland. Not sure how compatible it would be.

I haven't really explored the seat height subject since I swapped seats. The stock seat was torture riding the hour out to Warren Ohio to trade it in and buy my wife's bike.

From what I'm finding, the stock seat height is a little more than 27 inches and the weekender seat brings you up to a little more than 29 inches. Personally speaking, the seat made the bike actually ridable for more than 30 mins at a time. Also, the passenger pillion is damn neat twice the size of the stock passenger seat.

If you're familiar, I'm in Ellwood City. You're more than welcome to stop by or meet up if you want to try it out.

Thanks Kevin. The article you linked says the weekender is 27.4 and this link:
https://www.bmwmotorcycles.com/en/m...ic/technicaldata.html#/section-technical-data
says the stock seat is over 28 inches. I've ridden the R18 over 800 miles in two days with the airhawk. The only discomfort was hip pain which the gel pad seems to have eliminated. A higher seat seems a better solution than two seat pads but the price I've seen for the weekender may preclude it. If that changes I will touch base.
