Install Hill Hold Control after purchase

Any information from the group if we're able to install the hill hold control after the fact on a model that did not come with it?

With how little it cost on the builder site, I'm assuming it's some kind of sensor and software flash.
 
Are you 100% sure your bike doesn’t have it? Scroll through your menu on the dash, look for HSC which (on mine) is either on or off. I’ve actually turned mine off. Your dealer should be able to tell you the exact specification from your VIN.

I was thinking the same thing ... isn't that a standard feature on all our bikes?
 
Next time you get to a full stop, press the front brake twice fairly quick and it should activate the HHC if the bike has it. You have the Roctane and a green (H) should appear in your display if the bike has it.

I have to squeeze the front brake EXTRA harder... in order to activate the Hill (H) hold feature.
 
Mmm, I only press it twice but fairly quickly between pumps and it activates it. I have never tried pressing it hard. Try it next time the way I do it and see if it works.

I haven't seen this scrolling thru the menu but I'll double check
